| ■ | Suzanne Dane (MBA alumni and RRU Associate Faculty) agreed to volunteer her time and join the team going into Africa. |
| ■ | Through a competitive and selective process, three team members (business leads) were identified. All team members are Royal Roads graduates. |
| ■ | A team of seven Royal Roads BCom entrepreneurial students (accompanied by Dr. Nelson and Professor Geoff Archer) visited Tanzania to learn more about the needs of the communities and identify business opportunities. |
| ■ | Dr. Colin Nelson and family made a generous contribution to Royal Roads University and the Nelson Family Microbusiness Fund was established. |
